Skanska to construct shopping mall in Michigan for USD 59 M, about SEK 440 M

Skanska has been awarded an assignment to provide construction management services for a shopping mall project in Southeastern Michigan in the US. The contract amounts to USD 59 M, about SEK 440 M.

The order is included in order bookings for the first quarter. The customer is one of the largest Midwest retail developers. Work at the site has begun and the shopping mall is scheduled for occupancy in the autumn of 2007. The assignment is being carried out by Skanska USA Building, a leading construction company in the US providing construction, pre-construction consulting, general contracting design-build and pharmaceutical validation services to a broad range of U.S. industries, including pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical, educational, high-tech, healthcare, aviation, transportation and sports and entertainment.
