Skanska to expand industrial plant in Argentina for ARS 224 M, about SEK 336 M
Skanska has been awarded the contract to expand an industrial plant for a confidential client in Argentina. The total amount of the contract is ARS 224 M, about SEK 336 M. The order will be included in order bookings for the fourth quarter of 2012.
Skanska will be responsible for developing the detailed engineering, carrying out the procurement, developing civil works, piping, assembling the metallic structure construction and highly specialized electromechanical equipment.
The project is scheduled to begin in January 2013 and will be completed by the end of the third quarter of 2014. About 270 workers will be involved when the project reaches its peak.
