Skanska to rebuild Garnisonen property in Linköping for SEK 165 million Skanska has been commissioned by the real estate company Vasallen AB to rebuild and extend the Garnisonen property in Linköping. The estimated value of the project is SEK 340 million. Skanska's order, which relates to construction activities, is worth 2 SEK 165 million. The project comprises approximately 40,000 m , including 2 17,000 m of new production. Vasallen AB will lease the new and rebuilt premises to the police authorities, the prosecuting authorities and the National Swedish Criminal Police Registry and Forensic Laboratories (SKL). "This is an exciting and extensive project. Personnel from the Östergötland and Örebro offices will be involved in the consortium," comments Claes Larsson, Regional Manager, Skanska Commercial Buildings Central Sweden. "Skanska's strength is reflected in this project, whereby the company can establish a strong project organization with a broad local base for such a large project." comments Reinar Johansson, project leader at Vasallen AB.
