Skanska to widen California freeway for USD 67 M, about SEK 460 M

Skanska has signed a contract with the Riverside County Transportation Commission to widen the Interstate 215 freeway from Scott Road to Nuevo Road near Perris, California, USA. The value of the contract is USD 67 M, about SEK 460 M, which is included in order bookings for Skanska USA Civil in the third quarter 2012.

The project includes grading, drainage, bridge structures, retaining walls, and asphalt paving work required to widen a 19 km section of Interstate 215. Work will commence in November with completion scheduled for Late 2014.
