Skanska upgrades substation in Oslo, Norway, for NOK 385M, about SEK 380M

Skanska has signed a contract with Statnett SF to upgrade and expand the Ulven substation in Oslo, Norway. The contract is worth NOK 385M, about SEK 380M, which will be included in the Nordic order bookings for the fourth quarter of 2024.

The Ulven substation project is part of an upgrading of the central grid in Oslo. It is a design-build contract that includes demolition of existing buildings, foundation work and construction of new transformer shafts and new buildings, including technical solutions.

The construction work will start in October 2024, and the project is expected to be delivered in September 2027.
