Nomination of SKF board member

Gothenburg, 11 March, 2014:The Nomination Committee supplements its previous proposal for the Board of Directors in line with what was communicated in the notice, dated 26 February 2014, to the Annual General Meeting of Aktiebolaget SKF.

The Nomination Committee proposes that Marie Bredberg is to be newly elected.

Marie Bredberg is since 2006 CEO of Combitech AB and has been Vice President of AerotechTelub AB, 2004-2006 and CFO, 2000-2004. Marie Bredberg has experience from several board assignments within the SAAB-group and has a Master of Science in Industrial Engineering and Management from the Institute of Technology at Linköping University.

The Nomination Committee finds that Marie Bredberg’s competence and background is entirely in line with the requested profile set out in the Nomination Committee's reasoned statement which was annexed to the notice to the Annual General Meeting.
