Report this content

SKF has acquired Cirval S.A., a company specialised in design, manufacturing and sales of centralized lubrication systems. Cirval has annual sales of around USD 2.5 million and around 60 employees.

The company has a strong position in the areas of engineering, product development and customized solutions, particularly for the steel industry. Its headquarter and manufacturing operation are located in Rosario, Argentina.

The Cirval product range will further strengthen SKF’s market position in Latin America in the area of lubrications systems, complementing the current SKF lubrication portfolio.

With the integration of the engineering resources of Cirval and SKF, a regional application center for lubrication systems will be established to support the market as a complement to the existing local center in Brazil.
