In competition with both international companies and domestic Chinese suppliers, SKF has been awarded a contract for supplying of seals for the trailer axle by Guangdong Fuwa Engineering Manufacturing Co. Ltd.

Fuwa is the largest trailer axle manufacturer in the world, headquartered in Shunde city, Guangdong Province, China, with customers in a number of countries in Asia, Australia, Middle East, Americas, Europe, and Africa. This 3 year contract comes into effect 2009 and involves deliveries of 600,000 seals per year.

Amy Wu, Director of Fuwa, says: “We found that the SKF Scotseal solution offered more benefits, such as the significantly longer service life time, overall high quality, and strong performance”.

“I am very pleased with this positive result after an extensive evaluation period, where we have proved that our solution provides Fuwa with true value added benefits”, says Ulrich Selig, Head Truck Sales Asia, SKF China.
