SKF expands in logistic business - sells services to Johnson Pump The SKF Group's logistics company, SKF Logistics Services, adds another customer to its logistics network. An agreement has been signed with Johnson Pump for the handling of their deliveries in Europe as well as their sea and air freight traffic between Europe, USA and Australia. SKF Logistics Services is operating a global time phased delivery network which assures an excellent delivery service to customers around the world. This asset in logistics competence is offered to internal SKF customers as well as to a now growing number of external customers. SKF Logistics Services will use its global logistics network for the distribution of pumps and spare parts from Johnson Pump's production units to their sales companies and sales units in Europe, USA and Australia. Johnson Pump has production units in Sweden, Belgium, Netherlands, USA and India. - This is an important step in our Supply Chain Process restructuring in order to satisfy our customers demand for quick, reliable and cost efficient deliveries, says Christer Cedervall, Vice President at Johnson Pump.
