Report this content

SKF's acquisition of John Crane's lubrication systems business has now been completed. SKF pays Euros 22.9 millions for the business.

This business is headquartered and has its manufacturing operations in Muurame in Finland and in addition has sales offices in Sweden, Germany, USA and Brazil. The number of employees is 127. The sales of the lubrication systems business amounted in 2005 to Euros 25 million. The acquired business will be a very good complementary business to SKF's existing lubrication systems business, that is part of the SKF Group's Industrial Division, through its product and segment focus as well as geographical presence.
