Regionalization is a key part of our strategy and during 2024, we further optimized our footprint.

SKF is committed to decarbonizing our operations by 2030 and achieving net-zero emissions across our supply chain by 2050. The significant CO2 reduction from using Green Steel Climate+ products within a year is very encouraging and a step forward in achieving these goals. We will now focus on looking on how we can apply these lessons to our broader business.

This award highlights our dedication to sustainable business practices and reflects the efforts of our many colleagues to drive positive change. This acquisition strengthens our regional capabilities in South-East-Asia and Oceania, with a particular focus on customers in engineered solutions, heavy industries and mobile equipment.

Aerospace will remain one of our largest customer industries and we will continue to invest and strengthen our position in core Aerospace segments.

When we launched our new business strategy in February 2022, we articulated a desire to create a more autonomous Automotive business to provide strategic flexibility. I also said that we need to take bold decisions to unlock additional long-term profitable growth opportunities. Initiating a separation of the Automotive business is one of those decisions.

This acquisition is a good strategic fit as it enables us to become a significant lubrication systems player in the important ISEA region.
