The Shard has its own devotees already, and they post pictures of its construction every day onto Facebook, Twitter and blogs. So popular is this new phenomenon, that Twitter has seen a stark rise in followers of Shard Spotting accounts, including @LondonShard (801 followers), @TheShardLondon (863) and @TheLondonShard (649) [as of 29 February 2012], while Skyscrapercityvideos on YouTube currently has 80,417 hits for its Shard of Glass video.2
