Smart Eye renames one of its two business areas to Automotive Solutions
Today Smart Eye renamed one of its two business areas, previously known as Applied Solutions, to Automotive Solutions. This is a result of an increased demand from the automotive industry and thus a decision to focus efforts even more towards that segment.
” We see a huge increase in awareness from the automotive industry when it comes to driver monitoring systems and interior sensing. The strong demand on our technology from the automotive industry is today fueled by the increased safety requirements, new appealing comfort functions using A), and industry trends towards semi-autonomous driving. To align with the increased demand from the automotive industry we have decided to rename Applied Solutions to Automotive Solutions.” says Martin Krantz, CEO and Founder of Smart Eye.
There will be no change in Smart Eye’s second business area, Research Instruments, which is focusing on automotive research and human factors studies in everything from aviation and ship simulators, to clinical research.
