16 January 2025 – The SmartCraft Nomination Committee has decided to recommend Mette Kamsvåg for election as the new chairperson of the Board at the Annual General Meeting scheduled for 2 May 2025.

Gunnar Haglund has informed the Nomination Committee he will not seek reelection as Board chair and Board member at the 2025 Annual General Meeting.

Mette Kamsvåg was elected to the Board of SmartCraft at the Annual General Meeting in May 2024 and currently holds the position of deputy chairperson of the Board. She has decades of domestic and international experience from the IT, software and payment system industry. From 2011 to 2014 she was the CEO of Nets, and she currently serves as Chair of the Board at Group.one, Chair of the Board at WebMed and Board member at Worldline SA and SpareBank 1 SMN. She holds a Master’s degree in Management, Business and Finance from BI Norwegian School of Management.

“Since joining the Board in 2017 and in particular as Board chair since 2021, Gunnar Haglund has played an important role in forming SmartCraft, which is now one of the largest software companies on Oslo Børs and the leading provider of software solutions for the construction industry in the Nordics. On behalf of SmartCraft, I thank Gunnar for his valuable contributions to the company. Over the last year, since Mette joined the Board, she has proven to be a dedicated and visionary Board member. I look forward to working even closer with her in her new capacity as Board chairperson,” says CEO of SmartCraft Gustav Line.

SmartCraft’s largest owner Valedo Partners III AB, holding 39.6 percent of the shares and votes of the company, supports the recommendation to elect Mette Kamsvåg as the new chairperson of the Board of SmartCraft.

“With her extensive experience and proven results in the domestic and international technology industry, Mette Kamsvåg is a perfect match for SmartCraft. Her strategic mind set and extensive knowledge in scaling and internationalizing software companies represents a great contribution to the company," says Arild Bødal, Chair of SmartCraft’s Nomination Committee.

The complete Nomination committee recommendation will be published in due time ahead of the Annual General Meeting 2025.
