Cargotec chooses Smarteq for antenna solutions
Cargotec is a global leading provider of cargo and load handling solutions. With its business areas Kalmar, Hiab and MacGregor, it aims to become the leader in intelligent cargo handling. In the connectivity solutions for cargo and load handling on roads, in ports and at sea, antennas are a critical component and crucial for the optimal performance of the entire system.
Cargotec operates in more than 100 countries, which is one reason why the selected antenna solution must cover a variety of applications and installations. The antenna solution should also function as part of a system that enables Cargotec's customers to work with fleet management, preventive maintenance and positioning.
The Smarteq robust combination antennas support LTE, GNSS and Wi-Fi. Smarteq will deliver antennas to cranes and fork lifts that operate in extreme environments with varying climates, where a robust and reliable antenna solution is required.
For more than a year, Smarteq's team has been working closely together with Cargotec's business area Hiab and tested and optimised solutions for wireless connection.
