Håkan Persson appointed as Smoltek’s new CEO, assumes the position in October

Smoltek Nanotech Holding AB (“Smoltek”) announces that the company’s board has decided to appoint Håkan Persson, with many years of experience from leading and developing listed technology companies, as Smoltek’s new CEO. Håkan will assume the position in October, succeeding Marie Landfors who has been interim CEO since March 2021.
Håkan Persson’s comes most recently from the position as Interim SVP Sales & Strategy for the biometric company Next Biometrics, which is listed in Norway. He has previously worked as CEO or Interim CEO for several listed technology companies such as Neonode, Precise Biometrics and Scalado, and he has also held leading sales and business unit management positions at IBM in Northern Europe.
“Håkan Persson has a solid experience from the further development of listed technology companies and their business operations, with excellent structural and financial results. This makes him well suited to take the helm as Smoltek’s CEO, and continue the process of industrializing and commercializing our business areas and applications based on our unique carbon nanofiber technology,” says Peter Augustsson, Smoltek’s Chairman of the Board.

Smoltek’s interim CEO Marie Landfors will be available to the company to ensure a smooth handover to the Company’s new CEO.
