Smoltek Nanotech Holding AB (publ) (“Smoltek” or “the Company”) announces that group company Smoltek Semi AB and Taiwanese Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRI) are discussing a collaboration to set up a pilot line for fabrication of CNF-MIM capacitors in Taiwan as part of getting ready for mass production. This week Smoltek's CTO Dr. Farzan Ghavanini is on site in Taiwan for discussions on how to proceed with the project.
Smoltek Semi and ITRI have been working closely for over a year to streamline the CNF-MIM front- end-of-line (FEOL) processes for mass production of Smoltek's capacitors. In the next phase of the collaboration, the two organizations will focus on accelerating the transition from development to volume production through the implementation of a pilot line.
“As we are getting closer to introducing our CNF-MIM capacitor technology to the market, we have intensified our efforts in setting up a pilot manufacturing line close to our customers”, Smoltek's CTO Dr. Farzan Ghavanini states.
Smoltek’s CTO, Dr. Farzan Ghavanini is in Taiwan this week for meetings with ITRI’s director of Smart Sensing and Systems Technology Center, Dr. Arthur Lin, to discuss how to proceed with this project.
