Smoltek recruits Martin Lenart as operative advisor for the group company Smoltek Semi AB

Smoltek Nanotech Holding AB (“Smoltek”) announces that the company has recruited Martin Lenart, with over 30 years of experience from different roles within development, sales and management in the semiconductor industry in the United States, Europe and Japan, as a part-time operative advisor for the group company Smoltek Semi AB. To be able to focus on this assignment, the nomination of Martin Lenart as a new Board member of Smoltek, which was presented in the notice for the annual general meeting on May 27, is hereby withdrawn.
This recruitment provides Smoltek with valuable knowledge and experience within its continued work to reach industrial production of the company’s ultra-thin CNF-MIM capacitors.
”Smoltek’s Board sees a substantial need to continue the ongoing process to strengthen the company’s industrial knowledge and development capacity in areas such as the semiconductor field,” says Peter Augustsson, Smoltek’s Chairman of the Board.
Peter elaborates: “This process was initiated in 2020, and it has so far included efforts such as the creation of our two operative group companies Smoltek Semi AB and Smoltek Innovation AB, where we are now building separate organisations for our different development projects, and the appointment of Marie Landfors as interim CEO, which gives us a more process industrial focus. The recruitment of Martin Lenart, who will work actively with the continued development of our operations related to the semiconductor industry together with Smoltek Semi AB’s CEO Ola Tiverman, is another step forward. The board is currently working very actively on the optimisation of Smoltek’s way forward together with our newly appointed CEO, and we will present more information on our planning for Smoltek’s focus areas and goals for the rest of 2021 shortly.

Martin has over 30 years of experience from different roles related to development, marketing, sales and management. He has been active in the United States, Germany, Norway and Japan, with leading positions in the semiconductor industry including Vice President in charge of global sales for Renesas’ Industrial Business Unit. Martin is currently active as Board advisor for technology companies that want to establish themselves and grow on a global market. He holds a Master of Science in Engineering, Computer Science, from LTH in Lund, Sweden.
