Usman Tahir becomes snom CTO
snom founder Dr. Christian Stredicke appointed to snom supervisory board
Berlin, 11 July 2012 +++ Pioneering developer and manufacturer of IP solutions, snom technology AG, has promoted Usman Tahir to the executive board as CTO. Until his recent promotion, Usman Tahir has worked as snom’s Vice President Product Management and will now take responsibility for all company technical matters. Another change in company structure sees snom’s founder, Dr. Christian Stredicke appointed to the supervisory board.
Usman Tahir has been working at snom since 2001. He began his career as a software engineer before becoming product manager and in 2010 was promoted to Vice President Product Management. Prior to joining snom, Usman had worked as a design engineer at AVAZ Networks and at Communications Enabling Technologies before joining snom.
Usman holds a BA in politics and sociology, a degree in engineering from the National University of Science & Technology and an MBA in international business from Stuttgart University.
