This event showcases the finest food samples that a local may normally find in the Gaslamp Quarter, yet fail to be noticed by the Gaslamp Quarter novice. Taste of Gaslamp strives to allure more visitors to the heart and soul of San Diego, captivating them through the vivacious atmosphere at this event. This event is one of the largest fundraisers that benefit the Gaslamp Quarter Association, a non-profit organization working diligently to enrich San Diego's historic Gaslamp District.
Because the Gaslamp Quarter is So Diego Tours' home, joy and pride, helping transform this event was a must. Gathering and organizing over 150 volunteers is a large and consuming job that at times may be overwhelming to the few staff members of the Gaslamp Quarter Association and takes from the time spent in organizing other event details, that is where So Diego Tours lends a helping hand.
