Softcat is Mimecast’s Premier Partner of the Year for fifth year running

Marlow, UK, 25 May 2012 – IT provider Softcat has won Mimecast’s Premier Partner of the Year award for the fifth year running, thanks to its exceptional sales figures and passion for customer service.

Alan Kenny, general manager at unified email management company Mimecast, presented the award at its black tie event in London last night.

“For the fifth year running, Softcat has added tremendous value to what we do,” he said. “Their hard work and commitment have been instrumental in helping us to retain our customers and maintain our strong year-on-year growth. We are delighted to present them with this award once again.”

Dave Simpson, Softcat’s commercial director, attended the conference and accepted the award. He commented, “We are helping more and more of our customers to enjoy the benefits of Mimecast’s cloud-based approach to email management, removing the need for on-premise storage, reducing risk and improving data security. We would like to thank Mimecast for recognising our efforts, and for being a great company to work with.”

Mimecast Premier Partner of the Year is the latest award in an impressive haul for Softcat in 2012. Already this year, the IT provider has won Cisco Commercial Partner of the Year, HP Gold Partner of the Year, HP Storage Partner of the Year, HP PSG Partner of the Year, Symantec Commercial Partner of the Year, Websense EMEA Triton Partner of the Year, and Sophos Partner of the Year. In 2011, Softcat became the first company to retain Reseller of the Year at the CRN Channel Awards.
