Franck’s Lab Recalls Brilliant Blue G Dye

Franck’s Compounding Lab issued a recall for Brilliant Blue G compounded by their lab.

According to a safety alert by the Food and Drug Administration, the company issued the recall because it received reports that some patients treated with Brilliant Blue G experienced fungal eye infections.

The cause and origin of the eye infections were not determined, but the recalled lots are suspected of fungal contamination.
