“Boomers & Beyond,” a catalogue featuring a number of interviews, advice, and helpful tips relating to the lives of Baby Boomers and elderly abuse prevention, was initially released as an independent supplement in the August 31 edition of USA Today. Among other things, it includes an interview with Gabriel Miller, who serves as general counsel and the managing attorney for Sokolove Law.

In the interview, he discusses the key warning signs of elderly abuse that families should look for, the proper steps to take (both personally and legally) when elder abuse is suspected, and why there are often discrepancies in elder and nursing home abuse data.

The featurette also includes an interview with TV personality and “Boomerologist” Alan Thicke, workout advice from health and wellness expert Jillian Michaels, tips on how to avoid osteoporosis, and other advice on how to prevent – and put a stop to – elderly and nursing home abuse.

In addition to its recent publication in USA Today, “Boomers & Beyond” will also be available at numerous events in the coming month. The events include:

  • Fellowship in Anti-Aging, Regenerative, and Functional Medicine in Chicago, Illinois September 19-22, 2012
  • The AARP’s Life@ 50+ National Event in New Orleans, September 20-22, 2012

If you cannot attend these events, and were not able to find a copy of the August 31 edition of USA Today, you can download a free copy of the catalogue by clicking here.
