Honda has issued a recall for close to 46,000 of its Odyssey minivans due to issues with their rear doors.

According to theAssociated Press, the vehicle recall includes 2008 and 2009 model years of the minivans that have power lift gates. The rear doors of the vehicles may fall on people unexpectedly, posing an injury risk.

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration announced that gas may leak out of the struts that are supposed to support the lift gates, leading to them failing and causing the door to unexpectedly fall.

There have been two reports of the doors falling on people, resulting in minor injuries.
