Novo Nordisk Sued For Withholding Overtime Pay

Novo Nordisk is being sued in an unpaid wages lawsuit by former employees who claim the drugmaker failed to compensate them with overtime pay.

According to Reuters, the class action unpaid wages lawsuit was filed in U.S. district court for the Southern District of New York. The plaintiffs are asking for $70 million in overtime pay and allege that Nordisk violated state and federal laws by failing to pay them.

The Danish drugmaker has had similar complaints filed against it by former drug sales representatives who also claim that they were withheld overtime pay.
