Recent Nursing Home Abuse News
There have been a number of nursing home abuse cases that we have followed in recent weeks:
- The family of Eleanor Wildhaber - who was neglected at her nursing home and suffered a deadly stroke after being there for only three weeks - was awarded $4.5 million following a nursing home abuse lawsuit against Life Care Centers of Las Vegas.
- St. James Place, a St. Louis-area nursing home, is the subject of two criminal investigations after two patients came out with accusations that they had been abused and not cared for properly at the facility.
- The owner of Milestone Assisted Living in Glendale, AZ, is charged with elderly abuse after a 72-year-old patient of the facility passed away after suffering serious bruising, a fractured wrist, and other maladies were allegedly caused by poor treatment.
