The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has announced that it will conduct its first safety review of the hair growth drug Propecia

Examiner.com reported that FDA Spokesperson Sandy Walsh said in an email that "the focus of the current review is the persistence of severe male sexual dysfunction after discontinuation of Propecia's use. This review was prompted by routine drug safety surveillance."

Several European countries already require Merck & Co, the drug’s manufacturer, to issue warnings about its irreversible side effects such as persistent and permanent sexual dysfunction, testicular pain, and impotence.

There have been a growing number of men who have reported severe side effects associated with Propecia that  prompted several dangerous drug lawsuits

If you or a loved one has been harmed by Propecia or another dangerous drug, you may be entitled to compensation. Contact Sokolove Law for a free legal consultation and to find out if you have grounds to pursue a Propecia lawsuit
