A recall of Reumofan Plus Tablets was issued by Reumofan Plus USA, LLC and Reumofan USA, LLC because the tablets contain undeclared drug ingredients that can cause grave injuries.

Reumofan Plus tablets are used for conditions such as muscle pain, arthritis, osteoporosis, and bone cancer.

According to the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), the hazardous active ingredients in the pain killer include methocarbamol, dexamethasone, and diclofenac. The FDA has received one report of illness associated with the product.

The recalled Reumofan Plus tablets were being sold in packaging that did not list the active pharmaceutical ingredients, making the drug unapproved.

The recall is for lot number 99515 with an expiration date of 09/16. Reumofan Plus was distributed nationwide through online sales.

The manufacturers have completely stopped distribution and consumers are advised to return the drug to the companies for exchange. Consumers who are taking this product or who have recently stopped taking Reumofan Plus should immediately consult a health care professional.
