The Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) announced that Cooper Lighting LLC voluntarily recalled close to 50,400 units of its All-Pro Shower light trim over reports that the ceiling fixture’s trim and glass lens could fall and injure consumers.

Cooper has received over 400 reports of trim pieces falling and breaking, including laceration injuries to a consumer's head and foot.

The recall affects All-Pro shower light trim models ERT701, RE-ERT 701, ERT703 and ERT702 which were sold by Home Depot and other home stores in the period between January 2012 and July 2012.

Consumers have been asked by the CPSC to stop using the product at once and seek a free replacement.
