Sportspower Limited Recalls Trampolines Due to Fall Risk

Report this content

Sportspower Limited’s trampolines have fallen short as the company has issued a recall for the products due to a fall risk.

The recall was issued for 92,000 Sportspower BouncePro 14’ Trampolines because the netting surrounding these trampolines may break, allowing children to fall through the netting and be injured, according to a press release by the U.S Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC).

Sportspower has received 17 reports of the net breaking, resulting in 11 injuries including broken bones, back and neck injury, and contusions.

The products were sold exclusively at Wal-Mart stores nationwide from February 2009 through February 2012.
