NINE WEST ‘LIKES’ TO GIVE TO SHOE CHARITY SOLES4SOULS®
The footwear and apparel company will donate $1 for every “like” on Facebook to provide shoes for people in need
Nashville, TN – September 14, 2011– Nine West, a division of The Jones Group (NYSE: JNY), is using its Facebook[1] page to further support the Sole4Souls organization, which collects and distributes shoes to people who need them most. The fashion-forward company will donate $1 to the shoe charity for every new person that “likes” the Nine West Facebook page before September 25th. Nine West has set a goal of donating $5,000 worth of new shoes to Soles4Souls this month.
“Facebook and Twitter are helping charities around the world engage future donors,” said Wayne Elsey, Founder and CEO of Soles4Souls. “Now, with a simple ‘thumbs up’ for Nine West, Soles4Souls can provide a pair of shoes to someone in need.”
