Soles4Souls®, Inc. Announces ‘Kick off Your Shoes & Drive’ Campaign in Partnership with Middle Tennessee Nissan Dealerships
Shoe charity encouraging the public to clean out their closets and drop off shoes at 9 area Nissan dealers
NASHVILLE , TN—SEPTEMBER 15, 2010-- Soles4Souls, Inc., the international shoe charity, is revving up its efforts in Middle Tennessee this fall by announcing a partnership with area Nissan dealerships. Beginning September 15th, Soles4Souls and Nissan will launch their ‘KICK OFF YOUR SHOES & DRIVE’ campaign, a grassroots movement to engage the general public in Middle Tennessee to collect footwear and donate at their local Nissan dealership.
The promotion will run from September 15th through October 31st, and nine Nissan dealerships including Nissan of Murfreesboro, Victory Nissan South in Shelbyville, Alexander Nissan of Cool Springs, Roberts Nissan of Manchester, Downtown Nashville Nissan, Newton Nissan of Gallatin, Nissan of Rivergate, Barr Nissan of Columbia, and Cookeville Nissan will place shoe donation containers in their parking lots to collect new and gently worn shoes. The containers will be available for shoe donations during business hours.
"With the natural disasters all over the globe in the past several months, we continue to receive thousands of calls asking for much needed footwear," said Wayne Elsey, Founder and CEO of the shoe charity. "and thanks to our partners at Nissan, the ‘Kick Off Your Shoes & Drive’ campaign is designed to help meet that need by encouraging Middle Tennesseans to clean out their closets and donate new and gently worn shoes to one of our 9 dealership partners," he said.
