SOLES4SOULS®, THE SHOE CHARITY, ANNOUNCES 2011 WORLDWIDE TRAVEL OPPORTUNITIES FOR PUBLIC
Shoe charity offers volunteers and supporters hands-on experiences in four countries for the coming year
Nashville, TN –September 14, 2010 – Soles4Souls®, the international shoe charity, announced Monday their 2011 shoe distribution trip schedule with 8 opportunities for the general public to join the charity and take part in helping those in need. Participation in distribution trips will offer groups and individuals the opportunity to experience first-hand the impact a pair of shoes can truly make. The shoe charity unveiled eight trips for the 2011 calendar year including trips to Haiti, India, Peru, and Honduras.
Soles4Souls’ strong relations with International and American volunteers have provided many open doors for service worldwide. The international teams will be supported with ample translators and personnel during participants’ stays. The trips will focus on serving people in need by working on various projects and providing individual attention in fitting them with shoes- the first pair many will own.
Soles4Souls has donated more than 11 million pairs of shoes worldwide, and has distributed more than 1 million pairs to the victims of the Haitian earthquake in 2010. You can learn more about the trips, locations, and costs by visiting www.soles4souls.org/travel.
