Solteq Plc has updated its business strategy. The main objective of the strategy work was to clarify the vision of the company's competitive advantage and to focus the business operations to support the identified strengths. With the updated strategy, software solutions and expert services can be offered in a more focused manner for the energy sector, retail industry, and needs related to e-commerce.
The strategy update brings changes to Solteq's management system and reporting structure. Starting from the fiscal year 2023, the group's reportable business segments are Utilities and Retail & Commerce. The Utilities segment offers software solutions and expert services for the energy sector, and the Retail & Commerce segment for retail and e-commerce.
Industry-specific software solutions will continue to be based on the company's IPR and the selected technology partners’ products. In the future, growth will be pursued through business based on the company’s own products and high-quality third-party solutions, such as the latest addition to the portfolio, a Salesforce-based software solution for the energy sector.
Solteq will organize a Capital Markets Day on January 18, 2023, when the company's management will provide more information on the strategic focus areas and market outlook. The event will be held in English, and it is open to everyone. The Capital Markets Day can be followed live via webcast. Presentation materials will be available later at Solteq's website, www.solteq.com.
The company's long-term financial goals will be updated at the beginning of January 2023, before Capital Markets Day.
