Oil company giant changes telephone provider to Song Networks Song Networks Holding AB (Stockholmsbörsen: SONW) announces today that the oil and gas company ConocoPhilips in Norway has signed an agreement with Song Networks' Norwegian subsidiary for the purchase of telephony services. The agreement has a value of NOK 6 million and runs for one year. "We already have an agreement with ConocoPhilips for the delivery of data services and we are of course very pleased that ConocoPhilips has chosen to extend their cooperation with us", says Ketil Kivedahl, Managing Director for Song Networks AS in Norway. In addition to the network with good coverage in the Nordic region, Song Networks has a long distance network connecting with London, Hamburg and Amsterdam. "Our network is built in a ring structure, so called redundancy, that round the clock secures our customers' communication, with high capacity and quality, even if network disturbance should occur. Now the oil company wants to further benefit from this network", says Kivedahl. "The agreements are confirmation of our strong competitiveness also for this sector of the industry, with its specific needs.
