Sony Canada Charitable Foundation Supports Alberta Flood Relief Efforts
TORONTO, June 26, 2013 – Sony Canada today announced its support of Alberta flood relief efforts aiding families who have been affected by this devastation. The Sony Canada Charitable Foundation has donated $10,000 to the Canadian Red Cross Alberta Floods Fund.
“Several communities across Alberta have been impacted by this state of emergency,” said Doug Wilson, President of the Sony Canada Charitable Foundation. “The Sony Canada Charitable Foundation and Sony employees are dedicated to supporting affected communities during their time of need.”
The Sony Canada Charitable Foundation will match Sony employee donations (between $50 to $1,000) made to the Canadian Red Cross Alberta Floods Fund. Sony employees located in Alberta are volunteering in multiple communities to support flood relief efforts.
