Sony Announces Pricing and Availability Details on New XBR-X800E/XBR-X850E Series of Premium 4K HDR Ultra HD TVs

TORONTO – March 21, 2017 – Sony announced pricing and availability details today for its latest addition of 4K HDR Ultra HD televisions, the XBR-X800E and XBR-X850E series. All are available for sale online today from Sony and Best Buy, and will be available in stores from other authorized dealers nationwide in April 2017.

Dramatic Contrast, Colour and Detail

All of Sony’s new premium 4K HDR Ultra HD televisions support HDR (High Dynamic Range) and reproduce dramatic contrast with rich, brilliant colour. The XBR-X850E series includes Sony’s 4K HDR Processor X1™ advanced image engine to improve colour accuracy, contrast and clarity and supports HDR10, HLG1, and Dolby Vision™1for viewing HDR content.
