Sörman aquires Poet CMS division

Sörman aquires Poet CMS division Sörman Information AB today announces the purchase of Poet Content Management Suite product line from POET Holdings, Inc. Together with the newly formed Sörman Information GmbH in Munich, Sörman now has two offices in Germany. CMS customers will continue to receive high quality support and the product will be further developed and marketed by Sörman. The personnel from Poet CMS have joined Sörman and will continue to operate out of Hamburg. Volker John, Product Manager from the CMS team will be in charge of the Hamburg office. Sörman will assume the intellectual property rights for CMS worldwide, with exception for the United States, Canada and South Korea. Sörman also take over the obligations associated with the European CMS customer base. Sörman has a six-month exclusive option to assume the intellectual property rights for the United States and Canada.
