SOTKAMO SILVER: THE MANAGEMENT TEAM FOR THE SILVER MINE IS COMPLETE
B. Eng. Jarmo Huuskonen, will start as Plant Manager at Silver Mine, as of 1st of November 2018. He is currently the production engineer at the Pyhäsalmi mine concentrating plant. Jarmo has been working at Pyhäsalmi mine since 1999. He has a long experience including concentrating plant construction, process automation and production management.
Jarmo Huuskonen’s introduction into Sotkamo Silver Oy makes the management team of the Silver Mine complete. The members of the management team are Managing Director Arto Suokas, the Head of Geology & Mining Erkki Kuronen, Concentration Plant Manager Jarmo Huuskonen, HSEQ Manager Arttu Ohtonen and Financial Manager Jarmo Repo.
BBA Jarmo Repo has started working as Sotkamo Silver Oy's Financial Manager on June 1st, 2018. He has been working in corporate finance administration tasks since 2000, most recently as Assistant Controller and Controller of Pyhäsalmi Mine Oy since 2009.
The Silver Mine organisation has been supplemented:
Lic.Sc.(Tech) Eine Pöllänen has been appointed as the Project Manager for the ore pre-beneficiation project. She started in this position on August 13th, 2018. Eine has the strong know-how and long experience in the running and managing research projects, most recently with Kainuun Etu Oy.
M.Sc in geology, Ida Eriksson has been appointed as Mine Geologist. She will start on October 15th, 2018. Formerly she has worked as a mine geologist at Endomines Oy's Pampalo Gold Mine since 2012.
B.Eng. Jari Alapartanen, has been appointed a Mine Foreman and he will start on October 1st, 2018. He has been the mine foreman at the Dragon Mining’s Orivesi Mine since 2011.
B.Eng. Marko Romppanen has been appointed as the Mine Designer. He will start on October 22nd, 2018. Before joining the Silver Mine personnel, he has formerly been a mine designer at Boliden's Kylylahti Copper-Gold Mine since 2011.
