SOTKAMO SILVER AB: THE AUTHORITIES HAVE BEEN NOTIFIED ON THE EXCEEDING OF THE 500,000 TONNE MINING VOLUME OF THE SILVER MINE

Sotkamo Silver Oy has submitted a notification to the Kainuu ELY Center, which acts as the supervisory authority, of the 500,000 tonnes of excavation being exceeded during August from the beginning of 2020.
Based on the environmental impact assessment procedure (2017-2018), the environmental impact of the Silver Mine will remain at an acceptable level with an annual mining volume of 1,800,000 tonnes. This is also presented as the maximum annual mining volume in the 2018 environmental permit application.
The company expects a new updated environmental permit decision before the end of 2020.
