Southampton Solent Business School gets gold
Southampton Solent University has been awarded ‘Gold approval’ by the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA).
To receive the award from the global body for professional accountants, the university had to meet a range of challenging performance targets representing global best practice in the provision of ACCA course tuition and support.
ACCA’s Approved Learning Partner for student tuition programme gives formal recognition to leading education providers. Gold approvals are granted only to high-quality tuition providers whom ACCA is confident to recommend trainees who are studying accountancy.
Professor Georgina Andrews, Director of Southampton Solent Business School says: "Working with professional bodies to meet industry needs is at the heart of the Southampton Solent Business School mission. I am delighted that the high quality of our support for students has been externally recognised by the ACCA."
Southampton Solent University’s Business School offers its accountancy, business, law and marketing students real world learning experiences, consultancy projects, work placements, business games and simulations, and live briefs embedded within their professionally accredited courses.
