This wonderful website takes you on virtual tours of all parts of SouthWest Germany. In the food section, you can learn how to make Linsen und Spätzle and the famous Black Forest Cake! The recipes are not difficult so you can stay at home and practice social distancing while at the same time as getting a taste of SouthWest Germany. With no less than 77 Michelin stars, SouthWest Germany has excellent food of all different types. Also, we have two different wine routes: the Baden Route from the Black Forest to Lake Constance and the Wuerttemberg wine hills around Stuttgart. The wines themselves, the walking paths, the overnights and meals are just outstanding. Of course, there is excellent beer as well and the region offers many types of beer, beer routes and brewing tours.SouthWest Germany is also for people who love history and romance. Germany has no fewer than 46 UNESCO World Heritage Sites, and the country’s very first, back in 1993, was right here in SouthWest Germany. That was Maulbronn Monastery. Today, SouthWest Germany boasts six UNESCO World Heritage Sites; added in 2017 were the Caves and Ice Age Art in the rolling hills of the Swabian Alb. The German federal state of Baden-Württemberg offers a huge variety of experiences.
