Spanair to reduce fuel surcharges on domestic routes

Palma de Mallorca, 21 November 2008. Spanair, the second airline in the spanish market, has decided to reduce fuel surcharges on its flights within the Spanish mainland because of the lower oil price.

Spanair will reduce surcharges with 16 EUR. This surcharge will be of 19 EUR as compared to the current 35 EUR, a 45% reduction.

These changes will be valid as from November 22. Spanair will continue to monitor the dollar and the oil price development.

This fuel surcharge is not applied in the flights connecting the Canary Islands and the Balearic island and mainland Spain.
