Liv Bortne Ulriksen has today accepted the position of Group CEO of SpareBank 1 Nord-Norge.

Ulriksen has been acting CEO since February 25 this year. Prior to this she spent 12 years as Executive Vice President for Credit and Risk Management in the Group. Ulriksen holds a masters degree in fisheries and aquaculture, with specialization in economics. She is a former bank manager at Fokus Bank/Dansk Bank, and has management experience from Fiskeriforskning and Nofima AS.

Chairman Karl Eirik Schjøtt-Pedersen is pleased with his choice:

- SpareBank 1 Nord-Norge has had several storms during the period Liv has been captaining the ship. Among other things, she has delivered on the strategic and future-oriented bank collaboration with Helgeland Sparebank, and she has led the Group in a particularly tough corona crisis. The way she has solved these tasks has convinced us that she is the best candidate to take the Group further, he says.

The new CEO is up for the challenge.

- Delivering on the financial goals will of course be a priority. I am committed to building stone upon stone. Our course is steady and we have a strong position in Northern Norway. I will work hard to ensure that the growth we have had in recent years shall continue, says Ulriksen.
