SpareBank 1 Nord-Norge to lower interest rates on home mortgages

SpareBank 1 Nord-Norge is to lower its interest rates on home mortgages by up to 0.4 %.

- A key interest rate at 0 % indicates that everything possible is done to keep the economy going in Norway. Lower interest rates are a measure that will help many, and it is a wise and necessary move in the current situation. It is therefore natural for SpareBank 1 Nord-Norge to follow up on the signal from the Central Bank of Norway, and lower the interest rates on home mortgages, says Lasse Hagerupsen, Executive vice president Personal banking at SpareBank 1 Nord-Norge.

The rate change will become effective on May 25.
