Easter greetings from our CEO

Dear Shareholders,

Easter is coming shortly and soon it´s time to enjoy a couple of days off, creating new memories with family and friends and charging the batteries.

This year, Easter time for me, also marks 6 months in the position as CEO of SpectrumOne. It has been an exciting journey and I am proud of what we as an organisation have achieved.

Most importantly we have aligned as one organisation appreciating our most important assets being our engaged employees, our loyal customer and partner relations, and our strong and relevant service portfolio.

Based on this we have designed and started the implementation of a strategy with the mission to help business prosper by making valuable data, insights, and opportunity available and initiated the journey to become a leading SaaS company that shapes the future of Data Management.

To support our strategic direction, we have implemented strong guiding principles based on profitable growth, leveraging our investments in PRISM Cloud, tapping the synergies in our operations, expanding our distribution and strengthen our value propositions through partnerships.

Designing a strategy is easy, however executing it is always the hard part. That’s why I am really thrilled to see how we as an organization already are seeing positive results from our strategy, and much more will come.

Profitable growth

To secure that we reach our ambition to achieve profitability in all operating companies during the first half of 2023 we are prioritizing profit before growth and have already implemented several measures to support that goal. More concrete we have strengthened our financial management and reduced our credit risks.

Further we have chosen to divest Amplio with a transaction date as of March 31. An important reason doing so, besides the lack of strategic fit, was to cut the increasing losses we experienced from this business.  The partnership agreement with IdeaFix is also an important step to become profitable.

To support revenue growth, we have deigned a new marketing and communications strategy and are currently designing our new Web.

I am happy that we in the period also managed through targeted efforts to increase our direct sales pipeline in all our operating companies and that our SaaS revenue is increasing.

Going forward we will continue to strengthen our financial management by improving the financial management skills of all our employees. Further we will strengthen our commercial capabilities, hiring experienced sales and marketing people to drive our top line.

PRISM as core

We have decided that our future value propositions will concentrate around our PRISM Cloud platform and a lot off efforts have been put in to secure that we with these services will be able to help businesses understand how their commercial resources are set to play, who their most profitable customers are, why they are profitable, how loyal those are, what they buy, where they buy and what their characteristics are.

In the period we have managed to anchor our service direction “SpectrumOne – The home of PRISM” internally and have started to do so also with our partners and we are already seeing positive effects from this. From an operational perspective, I am happy to see that we have implemented our PRISM platform in both QBIM and Bizwell, enabling us to improve our offering and internal efficiency. Further, we are now working with several new PRISM leads generated from both Bizwell and QBIM.

To strengthen our Go To Market strategy we separated our PRISM offering into two distinct areas:  PRISM Markets and PRISM analytics

PRISM market is our established value proposition “Improving customers marketing efficiency” by exploring their customers and enriching their CRM with data quality and new leads. In PRISM Analytics we are combining our PRISM Cloud platform with QBIM’s analytical services to “Accelerate growth through the provision of relevant and actionable insights”.  The PRISM Analytics services are also SaaS based and are supplemented with the consultancy business of QBIM.

Earlier this year we started working with two new service areas being PRISM Sales and PRISM Growth. PRISM Sales is an intuitive and easy to use sales application, initially targeted to companies not in the need of a full blown CRM solution. The solution is developed in close relation with some of our customers to secure great market fit. The customer feedback we have received on PRISM Sales so far is very promising and we have high market expectations for this solution.

PRISM Growth is a survey-based tool linking insights about customer and employee engagement to commercial performance. The tool will be targeted at larger commercial mature organizations, consultancy companies and Private Equity funds.

Both PRISM Sales and PRISM Growth will be SaaS based services like PRISM Market and PRISM Analytics and we expect the market potential to be significant.

In the coming quarter we will continue to strengthen our PRISM Marketing and PRISM analytics services and just after Easter we will explore the benefits of integrating ChatGPT with those services. Further we will during May launch PRISM Sales version 1.0 followed by PRISM Growth 1.0 in June.

One Company

When I joined SpectrumOne I experienced a company that where operating like a private equity company optimizing each single investment. However with the launch of our common strategy late December we have taken significant steps operating as one company and started reaping the intercompany synergies.

I am thrilled to see how we have managed to work to getter fast tracking the development of PRISM Sales. In this work we have managed to free up resources from both Cemron, Bizwell and QBIM and they are all doing a fantastic job.

Going forward we will mid May have our first internal Kick-off where we get a chance to learn more about each other, discuss our strategy in detail and work with our values.

Nordics as our home market

Our ambitions are global, however as none of our offerings historically has been cross boarder targeted, we needed to start with a Nordic ambition. That’s why we defined the Nordics to be our home market.

We have already taken important steps preparing our current PRISM services to be delivered cross boarder. Further we plan to launch both PRISM Sales and PRISM growth in more than one country as once.

Partnerships

We have historically relied on partnerships to distribute our PRISM services and will continue to do so. In the period we have strengthened our partner relations with both Microsoft and Dun & Bradstreet. Further I am very pleased that our famous POC customer has accepted our deliveries, and that we are now billing for the solution.

This month we have expanded our partnerships to include both Pengvin AB, IdeaFix OY and Ampilio AB and I am looking forward to the business we will create to getter.

Going forward we will continue to strengthen our partnerships, expanding those geographically and create new partnerships where the opportunity arise. With an attractive service portfolio and more commercial resources I am convinced that our partnerships will prosper.

Our ownership in Eniro and Observit

Through our investment in Eniro we will receive a cash contribution in May in the excess of SEK 10 million, sufficient enough to support our growth journey. As for Observit AB, the preparation for the listing is ongoing and there will soon be some announcement about the exact timetable for this.

I wish you all an enjoyable and memorable Easter time.

All the best
