SpectrumOne AB executes on its strategic direction – divests its shares in Ampilio AB to Management
SpectrumOne is on a on a mission to help businesses prosper by making valuable data, insights and opportunities available. Our strategic direction is to become a leading SaaS company and shape the future of data management. In line with these ambitions, SpectrumOne has today divested its shares in Ampilio to the management of the same company at a total enterprise value of SEK 6,4 million (on a cash-free and debt-free basis and assuming a normalized level of working capital). The transaction includes also the companies Coudify AB, Growth Ads Europe AB and The Trigger Company AB. As part of the transaction SpectrumOne has signed a partner agreement with Ampilio, enabling them to market and sell PRISM Market to its Swedish customers. Closing took place today, but the transaction is subject to shareholders’ approval in accordance with the Swedish Companies Act.
"This divestment supports our strategy to prioritize investments and resources in the areas of our business that offer the strongest growth and profit potential. In our business this is reflected on our focus on our PRISM portfolio of services. With the re-shaping of our business strategy Ampilio is no longer a good strategic fit for our company. Their business model as a marketing agency does not fit our ambition of having the majority of our offerings as SaaS. The way I see it, this deal gives us the best of two worlds. The execution of the divestment will help us streamline our business and improve our margins. Further it will enable us to prioritize our resources to speed up the launch of new PRISM services. With the completion of the transaction, we will be able to complement our PRISM portfolio with the PRISM Sales application even faster than planned.
