What is the Re-set Retreat?

Feelings of stress, lack of motivation, poor sleep patterns, aches and pains, and generally feeling unwell can all be signs of burnout and, until now, women may have felt they had nowhere to turn to. This has now changed, however, with the introduction of the innovative Re-set programme from health and fitness experts Brealy Bootcamps.

Women are being given the opportunity to stop - or at least slow down - and to take care of their body as a first step towards tackling burnout with this recent addition to the existing weight loss and well being programmes from Brealy Bootcamps.

The Re-set Retreat - which is already proving very popular - helps clients beat stress and deal with some of the physical, mental and emotional symptoms caused by prolonged stress.

Critically, physical health is connected to mental and emotional health, and the Retreat focuses on helping clients to rebalance body and mind.

The specialised Retreat - which takes place in a luxurious retreat in Somerset - will start with a detoxing of the body of harmful toxins to support adrenal stability while a low impact exercise programme focuses on strengthening and toning the body.

Brealy Bootcamps’ behaviour programme will offer techniques to help individuals to take that first important step to regaining a sense of control. Days will be filled with a varied programme of physical activities while the evenings provide time for alternative therapies, workshops or to simply enjoy the spa facilities and relax.

Julie adds: “We’re delighted with the success of our new concept Retreat as this endorses the fact that this is something that clients really want and need. Living in today’s fast paced world does take its toll on many with the result that health, weight, diet, exercise and general well-being fall to the wayside. As well as helping our clients to get back on track we also encourage clients to get to the heart of the matter and to address some of the causes or reasons behind why they are so run down. While weight loss is positive by product of the Retreat (the results during previous Retreats average weight loss of 6lbs and average inch loss of 4.5 inches), we are calling this our Lighter Brighter Tighter Bootcamp as that exactly how you will feel on the last day.

“Some of the more common symptoms people experience when they are burnt out can include, lack of energy, lost motivation, feeling helpless, poor sleeping pattern, sense of failure, panic attacks, irritability, vulnerability to illness, aches and pains, craving sweet things, low sex drive and skin conditions. All of these can mean that controlling weight seems impossible and fitness goes down the list of priorities.”
