Errol Koolmeister, leading AI profile, has been elected to Speqta AB's ("Speqta") board. He will add important expertise when the tech company Speqta continues its investment in AI in ecommerce.

Errol Koolmeister has deep AI experience after implementing the technology in several large companies. Among other things, he has been Head of AI at H&M and worked with AI at Nordea and Vodafone.

Errol Koolmeister comments:
"I see great potential in Speqta and the company's ability to create value in the huge Google shopping channel. AI technology is the future of e-commerce and I think there are more channels for Speqta to explore later."

AI for e-commerce is about using the very large amount of transaction data that the industry generates to make bidding in Google shopping more advanced. With AI, e-retailers can be more accurate in bidding and thus more profitable.

Speqta's CEO Fredrik Lindros comments:
"I look forward to Errol Koolmeister's strategic guidance and to taking part in his ability to combine technology implementation with business. We have launched our AI service Bidbrain and continue, among other things, to build AI competence internally. Our current focus is to further develop Bidbrain and Errol adds additional AI expertise to Speqta which is important for the future upscaling of the business."

At the annual general meeting, board members Andre Lavold, Lisa Gunnarsson and Jari Piiponniemi were re-elected and Fredrik Burvall was re-elected as chairman of the board.
