New CEO of 203 Web Group

Today, Jonas Söderqvist assumes his post as the new CEO for 203 Web Group which he founded, together with Andereas Friis, eleven years ago. In recent years, he has been involved primarily in business development and has served on the board. This move will entail him assuming a more prominent role within the organization and taking over as company CEO. In conjunction with this, Andereas Friis assumes the position of chairman of the board.
During his tenure as CEO, former CEO Christoffer Johansson successfully drove the group forward by focusing on streamlining operations and generating profitability in various segments. Now, as the group enters a new phase, focus will increasingly shift towards developing the vast potential within the company portfolio. Christoffer Johansson will take over as the company’s global head of sales and thus apply his expertise in the field in continuing to improve the business.
“As the founder, I have a deep and intimate knowledge of our portfolio companies' operations and am now looking for ways to develop the business in both current and new Internet concepts. 203 Web Group is leaning more and more towards becoming a pure investment company, where my new role will allow me to focus wholeheartedly on maximizing the growth potential of our company portfolio," said 203 Web Group's new CEO, Jonas Söderqvist.
Current CFO, Robert Zettervall, will take over as Deputy CEO and contribute valuable expertise in the areas of accounting and finance. He will focus on monitoring the portfolio companies' operations, to ensure that they have the best possible conditions from a financial perspective. The Board is confident that the new leadership constellation will inject new energy into the organization, as well as promote and further the development potential of the group's portfolio companies.
